HISTORY OF THE Y-KNOT BOAT CLUB:

Formed in 1973, Y-Knot Boat Club is dedicated to the promotion of safety, seamanship and good fellowship in recreational boating. 

It is a cruising club whose members participate in summer outings at marinas throughout Lakes St. Clair, Huron and Erie, in addition to monthly meetings and numerous activities throughout the year.   

Y-Knot Boat Club currently has over 100 members, comprised of Charter members, General members, Sustaining members and Auxilliary members.  Y-Knot Boat Club is an active member of the Anchor Bay Yachting Association. 

We are a non-profit organization governed by a set of By-Laws and Book of Policy. 

We take pride in our efforts to provide our members with the means to maximize all aspects of recreational boating and sustain the friendships we have made as well as develop new ones.  We welcome guests and would love to have you join us at any of our meetings or open functions.  Please browse through our Calendar of Events or feel free to contact us for more information.
